Parking at London Stansted Airport
Stansted has a single terminal but a number of parking options. For dropping off passengers the first 15 minutes is free and is immediatly adjacent to the terminal.
Stansted Short Stay
The short-stay car park is situated beyond the terminal building on the left of the roadside.
Mid Stay Car Parks
Mid-stay car parks(called E Parking-Mid Stay at Stansted) are generally for business travellers on short trips of between one and five days. The advantage is a very short and frequent shuttle service and costs about £10 per day.
Long Stay Parking
Pink Elephant provide Stansteds official long stay car parking for about £7 per day. It's a very big car park and it can take up to 30 minutes to catch the shuttle bus, go around all the pick up points and then travel to the airport.
Exit the M11 at Junction 8. Follow signs to Stansted airport taking 1st exit at the roundabout which will be posted Long Stay Car Park.
Off Airport Parking
BSFC (yes it is an offshoot of Bishop Stortford Football Club) operate a car park and shuttle bus service. It's cheap but the service is patchy, some customers impressed and others less so. It has the disadvantage of having to call for the shuttle service from the terminal at times and the parking area is on the other side of the M11.
Exit the M11 at junction 8 and take the second exit(A1250). Take first exit from the next roundabout and then take the next right onto Woodside Park. Follow the directions to the Football Club.
Valet Parking sometimes called Meet and Greet
The Meet and Greet service allows Stansted travellers to drive their car right up to the terminal and pass thier vehicle to a driver who takes it to a secure car park. On the passengers return the valet service will monitor the arrival of flights and arrange for the car to be waiting. Several companies offer this service at a cost of around £10 per day. Additionally some of the companies provide a car valet service or will arrange a service for your vehicle.
